    Motion and step signals are processed on your device to verify that you are walking.

    Accept the match

    See the name, age and city of an active walker who shares your language; the choice to talk is yours.

    Talk with your phone away

    Voice continues during the walk. If either person stops, the conversation pauses.

Motion is verified on-device

Talkamble uses the operating system’s motion classification and step counter instead of storing a GPS trail.

Matching requires consent

You review profile details first. The call begins only after both people accept.

The screen can stay off

Once connected, your phone can stay in your pocket while the walk and conversation continue.

Persistent accounts, mutual acceptance, one-tap ending, reporting and blocking are built into the natural flow of every conversation.

  • Precise location and coordinates are never shown to another user.
  • Your surname, email and full date of birth are not shared with matches.

Common questions

How does a conversation start?

You see the profile of someone who is walking at the same time and shares your language. Voice begins only after both people accept the match.

Can another person see my location?

No. Precise coordinates stay on the device. The server receives a shortened code representing an area of roughly 5 kilometres; another person sees at most your city.

Are conversations recorded?

Talkamble does not record normal calls. Realtime audio is transported over an encrypted connection using LiveKit. If audio evidence for reports is enabled, this policy and the store disclosure will be updated first.

What happens when I stop?

The conversation pauses when motion stops. Start walking again within the allowed time to continue.

What if someone makes me uncomfortable?

End the call immediately, then report and block the account. Blocked accounts cannot match with you again.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Use Profile → Delete my account to remove the account and personal profile data.
