BOINGWARD Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026 (before first release)
In short: BOINGWARD collects no personal data. This version of the game never connects to the internet, and there are no ads, accounts, analytics or tracking. Your records, medals, achievements and settings stay on your device.
1. App, Developer and Contact
This policy covers the BOINGWARD: Pogo Climb game for iOS and Android (bundle ID com.ahmetbalaman.boingward). The game is developed and published by independent developer Ahmet Balaman.
For any privacy question, you can contact the developer directly at [email protected].
2. Data Collected
BOINGWARD collects no data. Your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers and information about how you play are not collected, not sent to any server, and not shared with or sold to anyone.
3. Internet, Ads and Tracking
- Offline: This version of the game needs no internet connection and sends no data over the internet.
- No account: You do not need to sign up or log in to play.
- No ads: The game shows no advertising.
- No analytics or tracking: No usage statistics, crash reports or advertising identifiers are collected, and you are not tracked across apps or websites.
- No third-party kits: The game contains no third-party advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. BOINGWARD is built with the open-source Godot engine, which runs only on your device.
- Sound: The game’s sound effects are generated in code for the game; the microphone is never used and nothing is recorded.
4. What Is Stored on Your Device
Everything the game needs is kept only on your device, in the app’s own storage, and never reaches us:
- Settings: camera sensitivity, axis direction, reduced motion, vibration, volume and frame rate.
- Records: your best time and medal in the Spire.
- Climb progress: the height you reached, your best height and your time.
- Achievements: the achievements you unlocked and the game statistics counted for them (such as number of bounces or longest combo).
- Backups: If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, iOS may include the game’s files in that backup, as it does for other apps. Those backups are managed by Apple under your account; the developer has no access to them.
5. Permissions
- iOS: The game asks for no permissions at all, such as camera, microphone, location, photos or contacts.
- Android: The vibration permission is used for haptic feedback and can be turned off in the settings. The Android package also declares the internet permission for the upcoming online race; this version of the game does not use it and never connects to the internet.
6. Online Racing (Not Yet Enabled)
An eight-player online race mode is in development but switched off in the game. If it is enabled, your game state (such as position and speed) will be sent to a server so the race stays fair. Before that feature goes live, this page will be updated to explain what is processed, why, and for how long.
7. Deleting Your Data
Since we hold no records about you, there is no account or server data to delete. When you delete BOINGWARD from your device, your settings, records, progress and achievements are permanently deleted too.
8. When You Email Us
If you email for support, your email address and message are used only to reply to you. They are not shared with anyone and are deleted on request.
9. Children’s Privacy
BOINGWARD collects no personal data from anyone, including children under 13. The game has no ads, chat or links to outside websites.
10. Changes to This Policy
If the game’s data behavior changes (for example, if online racing is enabled or ads or purchases are added), this page will be updated before the change takes effect, and the date above will change.
