LevelUpStudy Terms of Use

01Definitions

• "App": the LevelUpStudy mobile application.
• "User": the natural person using the App.
• "Service": all features offered through the App.
• "Content": all text, graphics, images and other materials within the App.
• "Developer": Ahmet Balaman, who develops and publishes the App.

02Description of the service

LevelUpStudy is a study companion app that lets students track their study time, stay motivated and compete with their friends.

Core features:

• Timer-based study tracking
• Daily, weekly and monthly statistics
• A streak system
• Leaderboards
• Social features (following, comparison)
• Virtual desk customisation
• Achievements and badges

03Account creation and security

To create an account:

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You must register with a valid Apple Account through Sign in with Apple.
• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.

You are responsible for the security of your account. Do not share your account details with third parties, and report any unauthorised use of your account immediately.

04Acceptable use

You are expected to use the App for personal study purposes, record your real study time, treat other users with respect and follow the community rules.

The following are prohibited:

• Creating fake or misleading accounts.
• Manipulating study time or cheating.
• Using automated bots or scripts.
• Harassing, threatening or abusing other users.
• Reverse engineering the App.
• Attempting to compromise the security of the App.
• Spreading spam, advertising or unsolicited content.
• Infringing copyright or other intellectual property rights.
• Engaging in unlawful activities.

05Intellectual property

The App and all of its content (design, code, graphics, logos, text) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. Under this licence:

• You may not copy, modify or distribute the App.
• You may not sublicense or rent the App.
• You may not remove copyright notices from the App.

06User content

You own the content you upload to the App (profile details, customisations). You grant the Developer the right to use, store and display that content solely in order to provide the Service.

Text that other users can see (username, first and last name, and the task title shown in a study room) passes through an automatic profanity filter. Usernames and names containing inappropriate language may be rejected, and inappropriate task titles may be hidden from other users.

07Points and shop items

The App has no real-money purchases. Points are earned by studying and, if you choose, by watching a rewarded ad; desk items and other virtual goods in the shop can only be bought with those points.

• Points and virtual items (including desk items) have no real-world or monetary value.
• Points and virtual items cannot be converted to money, refunded, sold or exchanged.
• Points and virtual items are tied to your account and cannot be transferred to another account.

If paid content is ever added, payments and refunds will be subject to Apple’s App Store policies, and refund requests will have to go through Apple Support.

08Advertising

The App is free and may contain ads. At present there are only optional rewarded ads: at the end of a session you can choose to watch an ad to earn bonus points. Not watching ads never limits any feature.

Ads are served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising network.

09Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". No warranties are given, express or implied.

The Developer is not liable for:

• Service interruptions or technical failures.
• Loss of data.
• Problems caused by third-party services.
• Indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
• Loss of profit or business interruption.

For any claim, maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the preceding 12 months.

10Suspension and termination

The Developer may suspend or delete your account in the following cases:

• Breach of these Terms.
• Illegal activity.
• Harm to other users.
• Prolonged inactivity (12 months).

You can delete your account yourself at any time under Profile > Settings > Delete Account in the app.

On termination all your data is deleted and you lose access to your points and the items you bought in the shop. Deletion cannot be undone.

11Changes

These Terms may be changed at any time. Significant changes are announced inside the app, and new terms take effect 30 days after they are published.

The Developer reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue the Service without prior notice.

12Dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first.

13Force majeure

The Developer cannot be held liable for disruptions caused by events beyond their control (natural disasters, war, pandemics, internet outages, government actions).

14General provisions

Severability: if any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.

Waiver: the Developer not exercising a right does not mean that right has been waived.

Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and the Developer and replace all prior agreements.
